When should I book my maternity session?: Maternity photography sessions are best photographed when the expecting mama is around 32 – 36 weeks unless you are pregnant with twins or multiples they may be scheduled earlier. I do offer maternity sessions in-studio or outdoors. Each setting does provide a different feel and will produce a different style of images. Maternity sessions can be photographed alone or you can choose to bring your spouse and/or any other children you may already have. As a professional maternity photographer my ultimate goal is to ensure you are left with timeless maternity portraits capturing this incredibly special time during your pregnancy.

Most of my clients put a deposit on their session late in their second trimester to secure their session. I am usually booked out a month or two in advance. I only book a limited number of maternity sessions a month and it may not be possible to squeeze you in.
When should I book my newborns photo session?: Newborn photography sessions are best photographed during the first 21 days of life when newborn babies are still sleeping deeply and easily curl up naturally into the womb like poses that so many parents fall in love with. As newborn babies begin to grow, it is not uncommon to have them become more fussy during the photo session so it’s important to be aware that older newborn sessions can take more time and do require more patience from the parents. I do only pose the babies that I photograph in poses that are natural to them and will never force a baby into a pose that they are not comfortable in. Newborn sessions are always baby led as the safety of your newborn baby is always her top priority. The majority of my newborn props and newborn outfits only fit newborn babies up to 21 days old so during older newborn baby photography sessions, I will predominately use fabric wraps and layers when photographing your newborn baby

Even though we don't know the time of a baby's grand entrance, many clients book their newborn photo session early in their 8 or 9 month of pregnancy. I keep in close contact with them to adequately gauge the approximate arrival of their baby.
When should I schedule a milestone session for my baby?: All babies develop at a different rate during there first year. Many parents wish for their babies to be photographed at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. Some 6 and 12 months. That all depends on you. Most of my clients book sessions with me when their babies can sit independently on their own, a first birthday cake smash or when they begin to take their first steps.
Do you have a Maternity Client Closet Collection?: I have just recently started building my maternity closet and it is open for you to use! I also offer incentives if you decide to buy a gown and want to leave it in the maternity closet for another mama to use! Ask me about it during our consultation.
